Per ALLCITY's Marc Stein, the Bulls are in the process of writing up an extension agreement for head coach Billy Donovan.

For what it's worth, Donovan is a good head coach. He has proven his flexibility in play style, overseen production increases and development of multiple young players and been a steady voice for the organization over his five-year tenure.

Still, a coach who goes 195-205 and misses the playoffs for three straight seasons is not ordinarily met with a contract extension.
