Manchester United are showing interest in a summer move for West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus, The Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg has revealed.
The Red Devils have reportedly earmarked the Ghanaian international as a potential winger target alongside their primary option, Bryan Mbeumo, who is now in talks to join from Brentford.
Interest in Kudus is thought to be high this summer, with at least four Premier League clubs believed to be keeping close tabs on him, including Chelsea and Newcastle.
West Ham are reportedly looking to sell Kudus to raise funds for Graham Potter’s summer rebuild but have yet to attract any concrete offers.

According to Steinberg, Chelsea held initial talks with West Ham over Kudus’ arrival but failed in their approach and have moved on to pursuing Borussia Dortmund starlet Jamie Gittens instead.
West Ham were also reportedly uninterested when Man United proposed a swap deal, as they are looking for a straight sale, potentially worth around his £85m release clause.
Kudus is believed to be keen on a departure this summer after struggling to impress last season, with five goals and three assists in 32 Premier League appearances.
The ‘world-class’ forward, who joined West Ham from Ajax in the summer of 2023, has three years left on his contract, running until June 2028.
Man United are expected to sign at least two new forwards following Matheus Cunha’s arrival from Wolves, with a new number nine also on their agenda.
The Red Devils missed out on their top target Liam Delap to Chelsea earlier this month and have yet to pinpoint a concrete alternative, with Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres still on their radar.
