Dusan Vlahovic
Dusan Vlahovic enters the final year of his Juventus contract and Man United could swoop in
"I'm confident that we will come out of the window with a much stronger team than what we've gone into," Omar Berrada said in a recent interview about Manchester United's transfer business.
Going into the final stretch of June and into July, United have already done that. Matheus Cunha, an attacking playmaker who scored 15 Premier League goals last term, has already signed after the club triggered his £62.5million release clause at Wolves.
Work to add Bryan Mbeumo to Ruben Amorim's attack has been in progress for two weeks now. Despite Tottenham's suggested plan to hijack the move and reunite the forward, who scores five more goals than Cunha, with Thomas Frank, it's understood that the 25-year-old wants to join United.
After Mbeumo, a striker will be prioritised followed by the potential of a new goalkeeper and defender. Victor Osimhen, Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres are all on their radar but the fees being touted make it hard to imagine a deal being sealed any time soon.
However, the window is open for over two more months and United aren't going to act restlessly just to get players through the door. "We’re going to do our best to do more signings quickly," Berrada told The Athletic recently.
"Sometimes when you’re not quick, it’s because you’re negotiating and you’re trying to make sure you get the right value for money. So being efficient or quick isn’t necessarily the best thing for the club.”
The Premier League's Profit & Sustainability rules (PSR) are also set to force United to work smartly. It's been widely reported that United need to sell players to raise funds this summer and yet, that hasn't happened yet.
Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with moves to Italy, Spain and Premier League rivals while Antony's short-term stint at Real Betis has left the Los Verdiblancos contemplating every available route to sign him permanently.

The situation that has gathered some pace in recent days is Jadon Sancho's. After Chelsea paid £5m to cancel their obligation to sign the forward for £25m, Sancho's future beyond this summer is unclear.
A move to Germany had been sounded out by his entourage but The Manchester Evening News understands that the 25-year-old is open to a move to Italy. Napoli, who wanted to sign Garnacho in January, are keen on the England international with United seeking a fee close to the £25m fee previously agreed with Chelsea.
Italian journalist Marco Giordano has reported that Juventus have made an official bid worth €25million (£21.3m) for Sancho, who is yet to be convinced of a move to Turn. That figure falls slightly below United's asking price but as it is transfer season, there could be a workaround.
Sky Sports' Dharmesh Sheth has offered a different perspective on the potential deal by claiming Juventus have formally approached United and are now in talks with Sancho's representatives over personal terms.
United need a striker and the prospect of paying £60m+ for Gyokeres or Osimhen or Ekitike seems as far-fetched as United competing for the Premier League title this season. Cheaper alternatives continued to be linked and one name which constantly finds itself in the rumour mill is Dusan Vlahovic.

After turning down Arsenal to join Juve, Vlahovic has found himself tipped to move to the Premier League. The Serbia international has scored 56 goals for the Old Lady but Randal Kolo Muani's permanent switch from Paris Saint-Germain this summer means he isn't guaranteed minutes under Igor Tudor.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus' general director Damien Comolli flew out to the United States to look at solving Vlahovic's situation. With 12 months left on his contract, it's claimed that Juventus have proposed a new deal, one that is of no interest to the striker.
It's said that Vlahovic currently earns £10.2m per year, which sits just under £200,000-per-week, but the Serie A's side's new offer will see him earn closer to £147,000-per-week. The probability of Vlahovic moving on from Turn is greater than ever and it's understood that Juventus value him at just €30m (£25.6m).
Selling Sancho to Juventus for close to £25m and signing a striker with a decent track record in front of goal for the same price would be a smart move. Something United have lacked in the past is acute deals and this would be a masterstroke from Jason Wilcox.
