Marc Guehi is reportedly once more under consideration at Arsenal, as the club weigh up defensive reinforcements following a failed bid for Dean Huijsen. The Crystal Palace defender, who has one year left on his current deal, is drawing renewed interest amid growing uncertainty over his long-term future at Selhurst Park.
A previous attempt to lure Huijsen from Bournemouth was ultimately scuppered when the Spanish youth international chose Real Madrid, prompting Mikel Arteta and recruitment lead Andrea Berta to revisit alternative targets.

Guehi, previously valued at £70 million, is now seen as a more viable option due to his contractual situation, though Palace are still expected to demand a premium. Chelsea, Guehi’s former club, are entitled to 20 percent of any future transfer fee, further complicating negotiations.
Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit. Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle, and Manchester United are also tracking the 24-year-old, whose performances during Palace’s FA Cup-winning campaign have only intensified interest.
Whether Arsenal will act on their interest in the coming weeks remains to be seen, as does whether or not Palace’s valuation will match the reality of his expiring contract.
