TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor has revealed his very early prediction for Manchester United’s 2025-26 Premier League opener against Arsenal in August.
Manchester United’s 2025-26 Premier League season fixture list dropped on Wednesday and the Red Devils face a tough start to the new campaign.
Ruben Amorim’s men will begin their pre-season campaign in July and finish their tour in August ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils will kick off their next Premier League campaign against rivals Arsenal, with the Gunners arriving at Old Trafford on 17th August.
Following the encounter against Arsenal, Ruben Amorim’s side will hit the road on 23rd August and visit Craven Cottage for their encounter with Fulham.
United will sign off August with their final Premier League match at home for the month, with Burnley visiting Old Trafford on 30th August.

What did Gabby Agbonlahor say in his Man Utd vs Arsenal prediction for the 2025-26 Premier League season?
Manchester United finished in a disappointing 15th place in the 2024-25 Premier League season, with the Red Devils’ league form falling off a cliff.
Erik ten Hag’s reign as United manager ended last season in October 2024 and Ruben Amorim took over as head coach at the Premier League club last November.
Amorim, who left his role at Sporting CP in 2024, oversaw a difficult start to life in England after taking over at the Red Devils during their lacklustre season.
The Red Devils will also be without any European football for the 2025-26 campaign after their poor league standing and United’s Europa League final defeat.
Gabby Agbonlahor has admitted that he expects United to play out a draw in their Premier League opener against Arsenal, but he expects Amorim’s side to be “lively.”
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “Man United away first game, first game at home, they’ll be lively, I’ve gone for a draw.”

Gabby Agbonlahor’s remarks show that the narrative is changing around Ruben Amorim and Man Utd ahead of the new season
Amorim is expected to see further reinforcements to his United first-team squad this summer and the Sporting CP manager can now send a statement of intent.
The 40-year-old United manager had to deal with the Red Devils players, whom he inherited from Erik ten Hag, quickly adapting to his tactical system at Old Trafford.
However, Amorim can now bring in players suited for his system, including United’s signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves for a £62.5m transfer fee earlier this month.
United have a tough run of fixtures at the start of the 2024-25 Premier League season, but Amorim could change the narrative around his reign with a strong start.
