Chelsea have agreed a deal with Championship club. The player will be on loan away from Stamford Bridge next summer.
Chelsea have a very high squad depth. They are keen to add even more players to this side. But, they will also need to focus on trimming the squad. This will help them to open up space and raise funds. In addition, it will also help them to comply with the PSR.
However, Chelsea have always given top most importance to building a squad for future. Hence, they want to hold onto the young stars. But, this will not give those players enough gametime. To resolve this issue, the Blues have sent many players on loan in recent seasons.
One player who was away from Stamford Bridge last season is Caleb Wiley. He is 20 year old left back who plays for USA on international stage. Chelsea signed him last summer from Atlanta United and then opted to send him on loan to their sister club Strasbourg.
However, Wiley was unable to establish himself as key player for Strasbourg. As a result, he was sent back to Chelsea from where he joined Watford on half season long. The 20 year old then played 10 games for the Championship and was looking very good.

Chelsea to send Wiley on another loan at Watford
According to Luca Bendoni, the Blues have agreed deal with Watford for another loan. Wiley will now join the Championship side on a season long loan. It will be on a temporary basis as Chelsea will not like to include any option to buy.
Wiley will be open to join Watford at it will provide him with regular football. But this deal will force Chelsea to sign a new left back. As of now, Marc Cucurella is the main left back for Enzo Maresca. The Italian coach has no backup option for the Spaniard.
The Blues do have Renato Veiga and Ben Chilwell as other left backs. But, these both are expected to leave the club this summer. As a result, the Blues will need to sign a new left back on urgent basis and currently they are monitoring Jorrel Hato of Ajax.
