The Miami Dolphins and Jalen Ramsey have been in trade negotiations for months. The initial thought was that Ramsey was going to get moved before the 2025 NFL Draft, but that did not happen.

The Dolphins were likely going to be waiting until June 1 to save some money on their cap hit. Naturally, Ramsey and the Los Angeles Rams were mentioned together, but nothing has moved on that front.
Now, it appears Ramsey has made it known or dropped a massive hint at his next team via social media.
In a post shared by John Frascella, it appears that Ramsey has followed a multitude of players on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Per a screenshot of his follow list, Ramsey is now following Darius Slay, DeShon Elliott, DK Metcalf, and more.
Though following fellow athletes on social media is definitely not a confirmation that Ramsey is headed for the NFC North, this is quite a coincidence. Ramsey on the Steelers would also make a lot of sense, as the team could have one of the best trios in the league with the current Dolphins star.

The Steelers' secondary is nothing to scoff at, as it is helmed by All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. Also, Pittsburgh was able to land Darius Slay via free agency.
That is not to mention DeShon Elliott and Joey Porter Jr. With Ramsey joining the group, the Steelers might have one of the strongest units in the league. This is assuming that the above social media action is somewhat confirmation that Ramsey has found his next home.
Ramsey and the Dolphins headed for a surprise split when it was announced that both the organization and Ramsey were seeking a trade. While the trade did come out of nowhere, it could be that the All-Pro corner was not happy.
There were reports that Ramsey and Mike McDaniel did not see eye to eye, leading to both parties seeking to move on. Either way, Ramsey is set to play for a new team in 2025.
The Steelers are not shy about bringing in high-level talent, and they were mentioned as a suitor for current Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith as well. Smith is seeking a new contract, and both organizations were apparently in trade talks over the tight end.
It could be that the Dolphins do not want to deal Smith, but have found common ground on sending Ramsey over instead.
