The NBA season will come to an end on Sunday night.
It all comes down to Game 7 of the Finals, when the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers will battle one last time to take home the Larry O’Brien trophy.
It’ll be an intense game, but history shows that the Thunder hold an advantage.
According to NBA on ESPN, teams playing Game 7 at home have a 15-4 record.
Does that mean fate is sealed for the series and the season?

It’s not as simple as that.
Yes, the Thunder will be the odds-on favorites to win for a number of reasons.
Not only will the game be held in Oklahoma City, but the Thunder also typically bounce back in a big way after losing like they did on Thursday night.
That is why most people believe the Thunder will win.
But they were also supposed to win in Game 1, and the Pacers shot down those dreams and stole a huge victory in the final seconds.
In other words, the Pacers cannot be counted out, no matter the odds and the history that came before.
Either way, fans are hoping they’re in for a treat on Sunday.
This has been a long, up-and-down, wildly exciting series.
Some people were nervous about how the Finals would go this year, but everyone can agree that it’s provided some great moments and star-making performances.
No matter who wins, both teams should be proud of what they have accomplished.
Will history be on OKC’s side, and will they become champions, or will the Pacers once again remind everyone that they can always rally, surprise, and silence their critics?
We will know the answer on Sunday evening.
