Liverpool remain highly active in the summer transfer window as they work on further strengthening their squad following last season’s Premier League title triumph.
Arne Slot’s side have already signed Jeremie Frimpong, and earlier this evening, Florian Wirtz was officially unveiled as Liverpool’s latest addition.
With Milos Kerkez reportedly next in line, the Reds are also expected to spend big on a striker.
Alexander Isak is strongly linked with a move to Anfield, however, if they fail to sign him, it is reported that Victor Osimhen is also a target for Liverpool.

Victor Osimhen tipped to join Premier League amid Liverpool interest
Reports suggest that the Reds are interested in the Nigerian striker, and Liverpool even held a ‘high-ranking’ meeting to discuss Osimhen.
TBR Football has reported that Osimhen has turned down an offer from Al-Hilal, with the player keen on a move to the Premier League instead.
Journalist Alex Crook now believes that Osimhen, who has a £63m release clause, will indeed move to play for a Premier League club.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Crook said: “Victor Osimhen is a fascinating one for me. He’s turned down a move to Saudi Arabia. I just have a hunch that he may well end up in the Premier League.”
Victor Osimhen’s potential impact at Liverpool
Osimhen is a striker known for his physical presence, direct runs, and natural goalscoring ability. He would thrive playing alongside elite creators like Mohamed Salah and Wirtz at Liverpool.
He had an incredible campaign on loan in Turkey, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances for Galatasaray last season.
His stats stand out, with 1.21 non-penalty expected goals, 7.32 total shots, and 9.92 touches in the attacking penalty area, all placing him in the 99th percentile among forwards.
Osimhen is also a significant aerial threat, winning 4.27 aerial duels (91st percentile) and making 0.46 interceptions (96th percentile), contributing both offensively and defensively.
Last season, Liverpool generated the highest expected assists (xA) in the Premier League, with Salah individually recording a league-best 9.65 xA.
With Osimhen’s movement and clinical finishing, the Reds could become even more devastating in front of goal.
