Evans is most famous for his explosive leaping ability and highlight-reel dunks. He played six seasons in the NBA (2010–2016), primarily with the Utah Jazz, and is remembered for winning the 2012 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
His winning dunk? A spectacular two-ball slam while jumping over a seated teammate, painted on a canvas he had created himself.
In the NBA, Evans played in 250 games, averaging 3.5 point, 2.6 rebounds on 53.7% FG. His best NBA season came in 2013–14 with Utah, where he averaged 6.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
