There have been few NFL players as intimidating or as physically imposing as 2-time Super Bowl Champion and former Pittsburgh Steelers legend James Harrison, who terrorized the NFL for 15 years.
Since retiring after the 2017 season, fans still get a glimpse of what Harrison is doing in retirement through his insane workout videos that go viral nearly every time he posts one.
In his most recent video, Harrison dropped jaws by benching close to 350 pounds five times while deploying a reverse grip and using a tsunami bar.

For those who never spent much time in the gym, it might be difficult to appreciate just how unfathomably difficult this is and the kind of power it requires to put up that kind of weight, especially with a tsunami bar.
During his career, Harrison collected a pair of first-team All-Pro selections and a Defensive Player of the Year Award while compiling 84.5 sacks, 34 forced fumbles, and eight interceptions as an anchor for Pittsburgh’s defense for 14 dominant seasons.
It’s hard to believe he had that kind of career despite not being drafted, but that same underdog mentality and brute force that he displays in the weight room is certainly a big part of what got him to that point.
If you needed any motivation to go to the gym today, or ever need a little push to get off the couch and get to the gym, a brief scroll through some of Harrison’s workouts should do the trick.
