A look at what our writers think will happen in next season’s Premier League.
The new Premier League season is still some way away, but we now know the fixtures for the 2025/26 season, adding an extra layer of excitement for the next campaign. Liverpool were head and shoulders the best team last season, with Arsenal falling way short of their pre-season expectations, which were to win the title.
Next season, the Gunners need to get much closer to a league title - and as far as Mikel Arteta is concerned - they might have to win it. As for Chelsea, they secured Champions League qualification with a top four finish last season, and they are expected to strengthen significantly this summer to set up a title charge.
Elsewhere, Tottenham will be pushing for Champions League football under new boss Thomas Frank, and Fulham will be another London club looking to secure European football. Brentford could be in for a tough campaign after losing Frank, and West Ham are an unknown given their struggles last season and the fact we are yet to see Graham Potter put his stamp on his squad. Crystal Palace will want to take a step forward, but they will have to balance league football with Europa League football.
Here we take a look at the predicted Premier League tables from the LondonWorld writers.

Some thoughts
I expect Manchester City to rebound in a big way this season. They improved massively in the second half of last term and they have continued to strengthen their squad. Arsenal should be up there but haven’t proven their ability to get over the line yet, and while Liverpool will be candidates, I just have a gut feeling they will tail off a little this season, be it through injuries or playing without Mo Salah for a few weeks during the African Cup of Nations. A superstar striker signing would change my mind on that, but something tells me Chelsea will be right up there as they look to build significantly on an already talented squad that is fully bought into Enzo Maresca.
Tottenham will surely improve a lot under Thomas Frank, and they should be in the mix for European football, but I feel the Frank departure will hurt Brentford. I haven’t seen anything from Graham Potter to suggest West Ham will do well, but he could prove me wrong, and I think the bottom three will include Wolves, who could lose Matheus Cunha.
