Oliver Glasner and Crystal Palace have been linked with transfer moves for Premier League and Championship stars.

The Eagles found out last week that their Premier League campaign would begin against London rivals Chelsea and there’s the small matter of the Community Shield clash with Liverpool at Wembley Stadium before that, with another piece of silverware at stake.

Oliver Glasner will be looking to keep hold of key first team stars and add European experience to his roster. LondonWorld looks at what the Crystal Palace starting XI could look like next season if current transfer rumours prove true.

Crystal Palace starting XI if transfer rumours come true

Goalkeeper: Dean Henderson

Centre-Backs: Lloyd Kelly, Japhet Tanganga, Maxence Lacroix

Crystal Palace are set to add Walter Benitez to their goalkeeping ranks on a free transfer. It’s hoped that the former PSV Eindhoven man provides competition for Dean Henderson but the England international will likely keep his spot.

Full-Backs: Reinildo Mandava, Daniel Munoz

Defensive Midfielders: Adam Wharton, Yvan Neyou

Tyrick Mitchell could be targeted by Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal if reports from The Sun are to be believed. The outlet have claimed that Crystal Palace are ‘in talks’ with Atletico full-back Reinildo Mandava, who could fill in on the left flank and is available on a free transfer.

Adam Wharton will continue to control midfield from in front of the back four. He could be joined by Yvan Neyou from Leganes with TEAMtalk suggesting that the Eagles are in a ‘serious’ battle for the player last month. Fulham are also named as potential suitors.

Attacking Midfielders: Lee Kang-in, Joe Willock

Striker: Jean-Phillipe Mateta

Manchester United had been linked with a move for Jean-Phillipe Mateta this summer but those rumours have cooled amid a focus on Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres. Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze is in high demand with the Birmingham Mail now adding Aston Villa to the list of suitors.
