Andre Onana’s time at Manchester United hasn’t gone as per plan. After two shaky seasons filled with big errors, the Cameroon international is now facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are still unclear about whether to keep or sell him. But, rumours around suggests a possible exit continues to grow. Onana’s mistake in the Europa League final loss to Spurs only added to the pressure. The club is yet to make any decision. But, it’s believed they might be open to offers, if the price is right.
Despite some backing from Utd legend Edwin van der Sar, Onana can’t take things lightly. Reports suggest the club has eyes on other keepers as well. There options include World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez. That shows they’re at least looking at their options.

AS Monaco are said to be actively looking out for goalkeepers ahead of the new season. They have placed Andre Onana on their radar. Their current options, Radoslaw Majecki and Philipp Kohn, haven’t fully convinced the coaching staff. This makes a fresh signing a top priority.
As per reports from L’Equipe, Monaco are also considering Chelsea’s Djordje Petrovic and other names like Ter Stegen and Ugurcan Cakir. It is also been told that the French side had considered David de Gea. But, he agreed to a new deal with Fiorentina.
Although, Onana has not had the best times in England, he has UCL experiences and saves some decent shots. Monaco are likely to make an official approach. So, it could be a fresh start for the keeper as he has not hit the right form in England.
