West Ham could be in line to agree a swap deal with Juventus for Nayef Aguerd.
The 29-year-old has been strongly linked with a departure from the London Stadium after spending the season on loan with Real Sociedad.
It is fair to say that the Morocco international has impressed in Spain, catching the eye of a whole host of top clubs across Europe.
Now, a move away from East London to Juventus could be on the cards, with a swap deal potentially in the pipeline for the Hammers.

Aguerd to leave West Ham in Juventus swap
There has been no shortage of interested parties for the centre-back, whose performances in LaLiga were largely positive.

This gives the Irons a perfect opportunity to utilise his services in their side, or part ways and bank a positive fee to add to their budget for the summer.

It looks as if the latter is a more likely prospect with Graham Potter set to let go of the Moroccan before the end of the window.
This has most recently seen Roma showcase an interest in Aguerd, but it could be Serie A rivals, Juventus, who get their hands on the defender.
This comes after Mundo Deportivo (21 June, page 4) reported that the ex-Stade Rennais man is the player that the Old Lady most wants to strengthen their backline.
With that in mind, a swap deal could be utilised as the Irons have an existing admiration for Daniele Rugani, with an exchange being considered by both sides.

Rugani deal could suit West Ham
It appears clear that the Morocco international doesn’t want to play in claret and blue moving forward, so an exit would make sense for everyone involved.
After paying over £30million for the centre back’s services in 2022, there is certainly a need for a positive fee to land a replacement.
That could be negated if Rugani were to join West Ham as part of a deal from Turin, especially after prior interest was shown in East London.
The Italian has excellent experience in Serie A and could prove to be an asset alongside the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo and Max Kilman.
It will certainly make for an interesting move, one which could ultimately benefit all parties moving into the new season.
