Everton must bring Atangana to the Hill Dickinson Stadium
Everton must sign Atangana to bolster their midfield with a young, dynamic talent who can provide long-term stability.
The 19-year-old Reims midfielder, likened to N’Golo Kante, offers athleticism, ball-winning ability and Ligue 1 experience, making him ideal for the Toffees’ style under Moyes.
With Reims’ relegation, Atangana’s £9million price tag is a bargain for a player with 50+ senior appearances, addressing the Hill Dickinson Stadium outfit’s need to replace aging or departing midfielders like Gueye.
Everton’s edge over Leeds lies in their Premier League status, a new stadium and financial backing from the Friedkin Group, which enhances their appeal to young talents.
Leeds, fresh from Championship promotion, face negotiation hurdles with Atangana’s camp, giving the Merseyside club a strategic advantage to secure his signature and build a competitive squad for a top-half finish.
