Arsenal supporters were put through the winger last season. A Premier League title chase fell to pieces and hopes of Champions League glory grew and grew before defeat in the semi-final.
Whether a season ticket holder, fan from abroad of celebrity supporter, hopes of a first Premier League trophy since 2004. Speaking at the end of last season, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: “A big thank you for the way they have supported the team, the club. They will have travelled throughout Europe, in the country and the manner and the energy they put in has been incredible again. Hopefully they feel pride and that this team gives absolutely everything and I'm telling you that they've done it.
“There is nothing else to squeeze, there is not a single drop. I don't think there is more to give. Hopefully they value where we are, where we have brought this football club and of course make sure that that's decided that we all have to make the next step and that is the percentage that we need. Between all of us, we can achieve it and be very positive and enthusiastic about what is coming and be constructive especially.”
Famous Arsenal fans
Robert Pattinson, Actor - £74 million
Hollywood star Pattinson was born in London and has been speaking about his love for Arsenal for more than a decade. In 2011, he told Metro: "I miss reading the sport section [of English newspapers]. I miss the football... Arsenal."
David Schwimmer, Actor - £89 million
The Friends star learnt to love Arsenal through his friends. When performing on the West End in 2012, he admitted that he’d be visiting the Emirates Stadium.
He said: "A great friend of mine is a big Arsenal fan and he's already taken me to see a match once. I'm sure I'll be taking in a few more - and I'd better say I'm an Arsenal fan because Saffron and Sara both are."
Jamie Foxx, Actor - £125 million
Jamie Foxx is regularly popping up in Arsenal clobber. The American crashed the Gunners’ kit unveiling party in 2016 while the team toured the States and shared images of himself with a William Saliba shirt more recently.
Kevin Costner, Actor - £185 million
Hollywood star Costner caught the bug for Arsenal back in 1991 when visiting Highbury and that has stuck ever since. Ahead of the 1998 FA Cup Final between the Gunners and Manchester United, the actor opened up on his love for the team.
He said: "I wasn't prepared for the passion that came with that game, I wasn't prepared for the fans and how they adored their team, I wasn't prepared for the emotion.”
Roger Waters, Pink Floyd bassist - £230 million
Waters spoke of his love for Arsenal during a Q&A on social media platform X in 2023. The musician was asked what he would be if he had to choose another career path.
He said: “Premier League footballer, obviously. For the mighty Arsenal. I used to dream - when I was that age, 29, writing Dark Side of the Moon - I had dreams at night that I was playing for Arsenal. BOOM [mimics shot], nice one Roger. What a wonderful thing dreaming is.”

The rockstar has been spotted cheering on Arsenal in recent years. In 2023, he was at Craven Cottage with his sons Devaraux and Lucas as the team picked up a 3-0 win. On that day it was Jagger’s hat that grabbed the most headlines, emblazoned with the phrase ‘DILF’.
Lewis Hamilton, F1 driver - £385 million
Lewis Hamilton has long made his affinity for Arsenal clear. It did turn some heads when he therefore joined a consortium led by Sir Martin Broughton looking at buying London rivals Chelsea.
At the time he said: "I remember 5, 6 years old that I then became a supporter of Arsenal. But my Uncle Terry is a big Blues fan, so I've been to so many games with him to watch Arsenal and Chelsea play," he told the press ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola.
"Ultimately, I'm a sporting fan. It is the biggest sport in the world and Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in the world and most successful." The bid, of course, failed, and Hamilton has since gone back to professing to be an Arsenal fan.”
Rihanna, Kim K and Jay-Z richest Gunners supporters
Rihanna, Singer - £750 million
The ‘Umbrella’ singer and actress met the Arsenal team in February 2018 on a visit to London. Rihanna may be somewhat of a good luck charm for the Gunners, with the north London club winning 5-1 against Everton on the day of her visit.
Kim Kardashian, Reality Star - £1.3 billion
Kim K was spotted in a box watching Arsenal last year and the visit was later aired on The Kardashians. The family’s favourite player is known to be Bukayo Saka and Kim said: "This is like a dream come true. I played soccer, so I want to make sure Saint has so much fun and falls in love with the sport."
Jay-Z, Rapper - £2 billion
The American rapper and businessman started to follow Arsenal in the mid-noughties and the Gunners have club legend Thierry Henry to thank for that. Speaking to Arsenal Magazine in 2010, he said: "I saw him play, and I just thought he was an amazing player. Ever since then I have been a big fan of the club, following you guys, and still today you play the beautiful football that Thierry did. I think he had a real long-term effect on the team."
