Transfer news LIVE!
The summer window is back open for business as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all scramble to get more major signings over the line. Arsenal have received another new update on Benjamin Sesko, while Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly told friends and family is expects to join the Gunners, while the club are said to be exploring a deal for Noni Madueke having seen interest in Rodrygo and Nico Williams go nowhere. Thomas Partey looks set to exit this month, with Martin Zubimendi in London to complete his move.
Chelsea are in talks with all of Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro and Mohammed Kudus, which would see Madueke move down the pecking order, having also made contact over Malick Fofana and Hugo Ekitike. Liverpool are set to finally announce Florian Wirtz and have booked a medical for Milos Kerkez. They are now plotting a move for Marc Guehi, but Alexander Isak remains an unrealistic target.
Manchester United are still pushing to land Bryan Mbeumo, but the Brentford star could now favour a move to Tottenham, and also have interest in Ekitike, as well as Victor Osimhen. Tottenham are weighing moves for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, while Leeds have seen a huge offer for Rodrigo Muniz rejected by Fulham, who are eyeing Ricardo Pepi. London City sign Lyon star
London City Lionesses have signed free agent Danielle van de Donk on a two-year deal.
Van de Donk will join from Lyon upon the expiry of her contract. She plied her trade for Arsenal between 2015 and 2021, winning the WSL, WSL Cup, and FA Cup in that time. She became a European champion with the Netherlands in 2017.
London City were promoted to the WSL for the first time in their history last season, and become the first women’s side unaffiliated with a men’s team to reach the top flight.

Chelsea told to steer clear of Garnacho
Emmanuel Petit has warned Chelsea off making a move for Alejandro Garnacho.
The Blues have previously been linked with interest in the Argentine, who has been told by Manchester United to find a new club this summer.
“Chelsea should steer clear of Alejandro Garnacho, he might be a decent guy but I didn’t like his behaviour on Manchester United’s tour,” Petit told talkSPORTBET.
“He is showing frustration but has had a lot of chances to show his potential on the pitch, but still we don’t know what to expect from him. He gives 100% and shows great commitment, but we haven’t seen him really improve as a player.
“The mentality is there on the pitch but he hasn’t been improving step by step. Chelsea already have wingers in similar situations with the same frustrations. Signing Garnacho is not a good idea.”

Manchester United plot Ekitike plan
Manchester United are looking to offer a player-plus-cash deal for Hugo Ekitike, with Joshua Zirkzee tipped to be involved.
Frankfurt are demanding a fee of around £85m, with Chelsea known to be interested.
Cash-strapped United, though, could look to trim that fee down with the inclusion of Zirkzee, whom they signed from Bologna for £36.5m last summer.
They also remain in conversations for Viktor Gyokeres.

Kudus rumours set to rumble on
Mohammed Kudus’ future at West Ham remains in doubt, with club captain Jarrod Bowen the only player definitely not for sale this summer.
Much could be decided at the beginning of next month. Kudus has a 10-day release clause which comes into effect on July 1 and runs until July 10.
During that time, he can be bought out of his West Ham contract by European clubs for £80million, Premier League rivals for £85m or Saudi sides for £120m. That could be when interest in the forward intensifies even more.
Though Kudus scored and assisted a handful of times each last season, for long periods he appeared isolated and uninvolved.
His employers doubtless took note — if not actively concerned by his drop-off in output from the previous season then certainly more willing to at least consider his sale, especially if that means alleviating the club from what is effectively a sell-to-buy policy.
If West Ham are banking on any player sale bumping up the coughers this summer, it is Kudus, who is believed to be keen on moving on, though he would not force through an exit.
Whether he and West Ham do part ways remains to be seen, but one thing is absolutely guaranteed. Those Kudus transfer rumours are not going away. They could rumble on and on all summer.

Walker-Peters eyed for Spurs return
Kyle Walker-Peters could make a surprise return to Tottenham.
The 28-year-old was a Spurs player until his move to Southampton in 2020 and he has been with the Saints ever since.
However, he is out of contract at the end of this month and is on the hunt for a new club.
Football.london report that Spurs view Walker-Peters as an appealing option on a free transfer to help with Champions League registration as a club-trained player.
However, there are other priorities and a move would likely be put on hold until later in the summer.
