Manchester United are pulling out all the stops to secure more signings as they aim to revamp Ruben Amorim's squad ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The Red Devils suffered their worst ever Premier League season last year and have already bagged Matheus Cunha from Wolves in a bid to rejuvenate their attack, with Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo now on their radar. But Amorim isn't satisfied with the progress so far and wants more signings completed.

The Portuguese coach is determined that new talent will arrive before the club jets off for their pre-season tour of the United States next month, so the heat is on United's top brass including football director Jason Wilcox and co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe to deliver.

A flurry of arrivals and departures are anticipated at United in the coming weeks and months as the transfer market begins to heat up. Here's all the latest transfer gossip from Old Trafford.

Fresh Rashford blow

United are rumoured to have 'offered' Real Madrid the opportunity to snap up Marcus Rashford for £40million this summer - but it seems the Spanish titans are unlikely to bite, reports the Mirror.

Rashford is no longer needed at Old Trafford after his spat with Amorim and had his heart set on a dream switch to Barcelona. However, with the Spanish champions closing in on Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, a move to the Nou Camp seems to be off the table.

As per DefensaCentral, United have already dangled the prospect of Rashford moving to Spain in front of Real during their hunt for a new striker. However, the report suggests that Real have decided he doesn't quite fit the bill.

Gyokeres update

Viktor Gyokeres' agent is reportedly ready to spill the beans with voice notes proving that the club's ex-sporting director, Hugo Viana, was willing to flog his client below his release clause price.

A disagreement over whether or not this pledge was made by Viana has led to a huge public row with Gyokeres' team and the threat that he could even go on strike to force a move.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been hot on the heels of the forward, who is rumoured to favour a move to north London. His future remains up in the air though, amidst whispers that Arsenal have sealed a deal on personal terms with Benjamin Sesko.

Regardless, it seems Gyokeres is set to part ways with Sporting Lisbon. Record reports that the player's agent, Hasan Çetinkaya, has 'proof' that Viana agreed Gyokeres could be sold for €60m plus €10m in add-ons (£51m plus £8.5m) during a meeting last September.

Amorim impatient for signings

Ruben Amorim is 'frustrated' at the lack of fresh faces ahead of the club's pre-season tour of the US, with only Matheus Cunha having joined so far.

The Red Devils are trying to bag Brentford talisman Mbeumo and are also on the lookout for a new striker, with Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike and the aforementioned Gyokeres - who has previously excelled under Amorim's management - on his wishlist.

But Amorim is growing increasingly impatient with the lack of activity on the transfer scene at Old Trafford before his squad jet off to the States for the Premier League Summer Series, knowing that he must get as much time as possible to work with his players to try and turn around United's fortunes.
