Jarrod Bowen was a shining light for West Ham once again last season.
The 28-year-old made 34 Premier League appearances, having suffered somewhat with injury, but certainly made his presence known when he did play.
There has been some speculation over what the future holds for Bowen, although Graham Potter will be keen to keep him in the ranks as he looks to push his side forward next term.
A new snub in the Premier League may assist the Hammers manager in doing just that, though.

Bowen overlooked in PFA nomination
Now the Premier League season has come to a conclusion, it is time for awards to be handed out ahead of the new campaign.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Although it wasn’t the most fruitful season for West Ham, supporters at the London Stadium were certainly keen to credit Aaron Wan-Bissaka at club level as he scooped the player of the season award.
In a wider sense, the PFA Player of the Year list has been released to celebrate the top flight’s best performers this summer.
The list has been made up of Bruno Fernandes, Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Cole Palmer, Declan Rice and Mohamed Salah.
Tony Cascarino, though, has admitted that he feels the list certainly isn’t reflective of how everyone has done this term.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (21 June, 6:28 am), Cascarino admitted that Bowen deserved a place on the shortlist as he said: “I thought Bowen did really well.
“Surprised he wasn’t in instead of someone like Cole Palmer. I thought Bowen did really well for West Ham, every time I watched him, absolutely.”
Bowen to push West Ham forward
As Cascarino says, Bowen is a talented player and you can understand calls for him to gain more recognition, especially in a season where someone like Palmer has struggled to perform on a consistent basis.
Player Appearances Goals Assists
Bowen 34 13 8
Palmer 37 15 9
Cascarino feels Bowen was deserving of credit like Palmer.
That being said, Potter may be slightly relieved as it takes the spotlight off someone he is desperate to stay put this summer.
Bowen has been linked with an exit this summer, although based on his affection for the Hammers and a long contract, Potter should feel quite confident about keeping him this summer.
If the attacker can have an even better campaign next term, though, you would certainly hope to see him getting more recognition on a wider stage going forward.
