TBR Football can exclusively reveal Dusan Vlahovic’s preference after he was offered to multiple Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
Several sides in the English top-flight are on the lookout for a new striker this summer, and there are a few interesting options on the market.
Vlahovic, who is set to leave Juventus in this window, is definitely one of them, and he has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a few years now.
However, TBR can confirm that the striker’s preference, as things stand, is to join another club.
Dusan Vlahovic prefers AC Milan move over Manchester United and Nottingham Forest
TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, understands that a host of Premier League clubs have been ‘sounded out’ by intermediaries about Dusan Vlahovic.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have all been made aware of the player’s situation throughout this summer.
As TBR previously reported, Juventus and Vlahovic have agreed to part ways, with a new deal not on the table. Last season, Juve offered their star striker fresh terms but wanted him to lower his wages. That, however, was not something that the Serbian superstar was keen to consider.
Vlahovic’s people have made it clear to a number of Premier League teams that he is ready and willing to move to England, and we are told many of those clubs are keen, especially as Juve are willing to do business at just over £20 million.
However, rumours of talks progressing have been downplayed by sources close to his camp. Indeed, it has emerged that a move to AC Milan, where he could and would link up with former Juve chief Massimiliano Allegri, is now becoming Vlahovic’s preference.
We are told that while he won’t take a wage drop at Juventus, he would be willing to reduce his salary to move to the San Siro.
Sources have confirmed to TBR that while the English suitors are interested, nobody has moved forward with talks.
“There is interest in England in Vlahovic, but I can confirm no offers are on the table in the Premier League for him, as yet,” Bailey exclusively told TBR.
“There was a suspicion amongst the clubs that he was waiting for other interest, and now something has come up at Milan with Allegri’s move to the club. I am told that, as it stands, they are firm favourites for Vlahovic, but that could change.
“If that does happen, then we could see Premier League interest materialise, but at this point it has not.”

Dusan Vlahovic’s injury problems
Vlahovic, if he can stay fit, would be a fine signing for most clubs in the Premier League, including Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.
But, the Serbian has had injury issues since his move to Juventus.
Arsenal and Chelsea haven’t made a move for Vlahovic because of his ‘chronic’ groin issue, which has been described as a big concern to interested clubs.
Vlahovic has missed over 200 days of football over the last three-and-a-half years due to 12 different injury issues.
It remains to be seen if clubs in the Premier League will take a risk and sign Vlahovic if his move to AC Milan does not materialise.
