Everton are on the hunt for their next number nine this summer to bolster David Moyes’ options.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will leave Everton at the end of the month, with contract talks not leading to any new deal for the striker.
As Moyes has also seen Armando Broja return to Chelsea, this has left his options up top extremely bare heading into pre-season.
A lot of work needs to be done at Everton this summer considering the sheer number of players who have departed Merseyside at the end of their deals.
Everton are prioritising a new striker signing, though.
There are a number of options on Angus Kinnear’s radar this summer as the Toffees look to solve what has been a huge problem for the club over recent years.
And there is even one target who is now holding out for a move to the Premier League.

Everton do hold an interest in Dusan Vlahovic, with his time at Juventus coming under real speculation.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The Toffees need to add to their options as they risk going into pre-season with Beto as their main senior striker.
According to Rudy Galetti, Vlahovic is now holding out to move to a Premier League side this summer.
🚨‼️ Vlahovic still prioritises a Premier League move: Forest are the club that has made the most concrete moves so far.
🅱️ AC Milan admire him too, but his salary is a big hurdle: anyway, Dusan considers the 🔴⚫️ just a plan B waiting for top 🏴 teams.

Nottingham Forest are said to be the side to have shown the most interest so far in the market.
There is other interest arriving in the Serbia international, but Vlahovic is believed to view AC Milan’s approach as a backup plan if he cannot move to England.
However, there is a major issue as far as Everton will be concerned over a possible swoop for the striker.
Vlahovic is looking for a £200k-per-week salary this summer as he eyes a move away from Juventus.
Everton should target Vlahovic alternatives
Fortunately, the Serbian is not the only player who is on the radar of the Blues.
Everton are keen to sign Thierno Barry from Villarreal, with strong talks having been held between the parties already.
The Toffees need to add numbers to their squad this summer, but Moyes has already experienced how quantity does not always add to an increase in quality.
Everton have put together a strong recruitment team, which the Friedkins will be hoping can turn their investment into success through acquiring the right players.
