For many years, Stephen Curry has been one of the NBA's living legends, and he has spearheaded the Golden State Warriors' dynasty over the last decade. Even at age 37, he is still going strong.
After his production was a bit depressed during the first half of this season, he perked up after the February acquisition of six-time All-Star forward Jimmy Butler. The Warriors lost in the second round of the playoffs to the Minnesota Timberwolves after Curry injured his hamstring in Game 1, but it is very possible they would've prevailed if not for that ailment.
In a post on X, the franchise posted a short video commemorating Curry's journey with it so far.
Fans reacted to the post and video.
"Steph's legacy continues to inspire the next generation," wrote one fan.
"A Curry statue outside chase center gonna look dope one day," another fan wrote.
"Give him 10% of warriors," a third user wrote.
"G.O.A.T," a fourth fan wrote.
"#MyFave Stephen forever," a fifth fan wrote.
"Missed my ð," another user wrote.
Curry was the No. 7 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Davidson, which isn't exactly a prominent basketball school. In his early years, he was a good player, but he wasn't yet regarded as a true star.
But by the 2013-14 season, his production rose, and that year, he earned his first of 11 All-Star nods. He was named the league MVP in both of the following seasons as the Warriors won their first world championship with him in 2015.

Two more titles followed in 2017 and 2018 during Kevin Durant's short tenure with Golden State. After injuries to Curry and Klay Thompson, the team retooled and was able to squeeze out one more ring in 2022.
Now, Thompson is in Dallas, but Butler is Curry's new co-star, and Golden State could have a real shot at yet another championship next season.
