Teddy Sheringham says all but one Manchester United player should be up for sale this summer.
Treble-winning hero Sheringham is beloved by Red Devils fans for his exploits under the management of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. But those glory days are now a distant memory, with the fallen Premier League giants a shadow of their former selves.
Last season was the club's worst campaign in more than 50 years, with a dismal 15th place finish in the league only compounded by missing out on Champions League football thanks to an embarrassing Europa League final defeat to Tottenham.
But manager Ruben Amorim has shown his pedigree before arriving at Old Trafford by building a brilliant Sporting Lisbon side and many observers believe he can save the sinking ship, if given the time and resources to do so.
For that to be possible however thanks to smart dealings in the summer transfer window, the cash-strapped club needs an injection of funds provided by selling off talent who have failed to reach the high standards expected at United.

Former England striker Sheringham, 59, says only captain Bruno Fernandes - convinced by Amorim to snub a move to Saudi and lead the team next season - should be out of bounds.
The 30-year-old registered 19 goals and 19 assists to keep United afloat last season when at one stage a relegation battle looked a real possibility.
Sheringham told Sky Bet: "Any player that's underachieving at United would be surplus to requirements. And there’s not a lot of players at United who are playing at the top of their form, other than Fernandes.
"So I would think that any offers that come in for anyone playing for United would be very welcome, to be able to get players out and to get others in.

"Sometimes players fall off a cliff, but I can’t see him [Fernandes] doing that, he's still got the appetite to go out and do better and lead by example."
Despite United's shambolic season, chief executive Omar Berrada has made the ambitious claim his club will be champions again in three years.
United launched 'Project 150', which is aimed at the club winning a 21st league title by the year it celebrates its 150th anniversary.

Sheringham labelled the plan 'pie in the sky - and accused Berrada of living in dreamland. The former United favourite said: "Omar Berrada’s comments are dreamlike. In football clubs, you’ve got to have small steps to get to places.
"If you see those small steps and are encouraged and moving in the right direction, that’s when you start looking positively at the future.
"But when people come out with quotes like that, it can be pie in the sky when you’ve got to give the manager time to get things right."
