Marcus Rashford’s future remains uncertain as his next club has not yet been decided by the Manchester United wantaway.
After being dropped by Ruben Amorim, Rashford’s loan stint with Aston Villa during the second half of the previous season helped launch his career.
The 27-year-old not only returned to the England squad, but he was also a regular at Villa Park under Unai Emery.
Rashford’s temporary transfer was regrettably short-lived because Villa was unable to pay his high salary demands without the financial advantages of playing in the Champions League.
Amorim and Rashford’s relationship has been, to put it mildly, difficult ever since he was cut from the United team for the Manchester derby in December.
Ruben Amorim has publicly criticised Rashford’s demeanour and stated that he has no place in his United team unless the winger changes his style.
While a relationship with both Amorim and Rashford seems almost broken, the pair could make a return together.

According to Rob Dawson of ESPN, Marcus Rashford is planning to return to training with Manchester United next month if a deal to leave Old Trafford has not been agreed.
The pacy-forward is reportedly the target of several clubs, but the great majority of them are unable to pay him what he demands.
Rashford was previously opposed to accepting a pay reduction, but because his high demands turned off potential suitors, he might be content to do so in order to leave Manchester United.
Whether the United academy graduate ends up on loan or in a permanent transfer, it will be interesting to watch where he goes this summer.
Although the transfer situation is still in its early phases, Marcus Rashford’s departure from Manchester United appears to be likely.
