**West Ham have identified Mario Stroeykens as a player of significant interest this summer, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**

With the summer transfer window now firmly underway, West Ham continue to push the message that player sales at present are the priority as we look to balance the books and fund a rebuild under Graham Potter, with Kyle Macaulay leading the recruitment drive.

Whilst the selling of players is a clearly the main driver at present with regards the transfer business, Potter and Macaulay are working on bringing players to east London that fit the vision of the former Brighton boss.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Podcast, club insider ExWHUEmployee has advised that the club have identified Belgian attacking midfielder Stroeykens as a player who is of interest this summer.

“As we have exclusively reported previously, the Belgian market is one the club are exploring, with the French market too being one that we are looking at closely,” stated Ex.

“We understand that the club have identified Anderlecht attacking midfielder Mario Stroeykens as a player we could well be set to target this summer.”

Ex further advised that the club also still holds serious interest in Raphael Onyedika of Club Brugge and Koni De Winter of Genoa.
