After returning on loan at Aston Villa, Marcus Rashford is adamant about leaving Old Trafford.
When the attacker’s romance with Ruben Amorim ended last winter, the star was dropped from the Manchester United squad entirely, presumably ending the attacker’s career.
Rashford was loaned to Villa for the remainder of the season in January, with a £40 million buyout option.
However, a permanent move for Rashford was not feasible because Unai Emery’s team was unable to obtain Champions League football and the associated funding.
The United academy graduate makes an incredible £325,000 a week, which has deterred any bidder from approaching him in recent transfer windows.
It appeared at one stage that United would have to give the 27-year-old £20 million in compensation in order for him to accept a pay cut and depart Old Trafford.
A move for the United wantaway could now be imminent.

According to Rob Dawson of ESPN, Marcus Rashford is generating interest from several clubs with one being German giants FC Bayern Munich.
It was reported earlier that Rashford could return for preseason for the Red Devils.
But United are yet to receive a firm bid and, as things stand, Rashford, who is under contract until 2028, will report back to Carrington in July for preseason training.
Rashford used to be opposed to accepting a pay reduction, but now that his high expectations are turning off potential suitors, he is content to do so and leave Manchester United.
Whether the United academy graduate ends up on loan or in a permanent transfer, it will be interesting to watch where he goes this summer.
Although the transfer situation is still in its early phases, Marcus Rashford’s departure from Manchester United appears to be likely.
