Everton have their sights set on Stuttgart star Nick Woltemade this summer.
David Moyes is looking to strengthen his side ahead of the new campaign, hoping the Toffees can push much further up the table next term.
There is certainly work to be done throughout the squad, but as Dominic Calvert-Lewin looks to be heading towards the exit door, a new attacking option is certainly on the list.

Woltemade warning sent by Stuttgart
Woltemade has been linked with a move to Everton for some time now.
Everton are looking to beat rivals Liverpool to sign the 23-year-old this summer, and initial talks over his availability have been held already.

The forward is under contract in the Bundesliga until 2028, though, and Stuttgart are keen on extending his stay for the time being.
So far, negotiations over extending his deal where he is haven’t gone the way that Stuttgart would have hoped.
However, this has not dampened their hope of striking a deal.
Sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth told German outlet Bild (20 June): “It’s a slow season again. We’re following the news, of course. But at this point, everyone can rest assured. Nick’s immediate future is regulated by a three-year contract with VfB Stuttgart.
“Any discussions with Nick’s management are not about clarifying his sporting future, but rather about us wanting to contractually express our appreciation for his outstanding sporting development.
“I’m very confident that we will bring the discussions to a successful conclusion.”

Everton can’t be put off Woltemade transfer
As it stands, Stuttgart may be saying that they are feeling fairly confident about coming to the conclusion they hope for when it comes to negotiations with their forward.
However, at this stage in the window, it is certainly in their interests to be positive in the hope of dampening the optimism of those who are interested.
Until a deal has been agreed, though, Everton must treat Woltemade as someone who could be keen on a move and do all they can to convince him to the Premier League this summer.

Woltemade had an impressive season.
At just 23-years-old, the German has racked up impressive numbers this season and would surely bring an exciting new striker option to Everton as they prepare to move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
The Blues are undergoing a transformation under the Friedkin Group this summer and securing these types of signings will certainly be a way to signal that a new era is upon them.
