Everton are battling some of their Premier League rivals this summer in the transfer market.
David Moyes is going to need some big additions to his squad if the Toffees are going to compete at the level the Friedkins aspire to be at.
It has been a steady start to the market for Everton who have mainly seen the future of their own players speculated.
Now, fans will be wanting to see some money spent, and there is the expectation that Everton will become busy in the transfer market as we near July.
A number of Everton players are set to leave the club over the coming days at the end of their contracts.
Moyes wants Everton to sign a new winger and has ever since he returned to the club back in January.
With Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom returning to their parent clubs, there is an even bigger emphasis being put on that position.

Everton showing interest in Lucas Ferreira
There have been some high profile names linked with a move to Merseyside as Everton eye Jack Grealish from Manchester City.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
However, there are also some less familiar names who have been linked with the Blues.
According to Jorge Nicola, Everton hold a ‘great interest’ in the Sao Paulo winger Lucas Ferreira this summer.
The interest from Merseyside will not come without competition from inside the Premier League, with Wolves also on the scene.
An €8m (£6.8m) bid from Russia has also been rejected by the Brazilian outfit, and they are said to be looking to sell other players before Ferreira.
Following contact with his agent, it is believed the player is valued in the region of €10m (£8.5m).
Everton’s owners want to make a statement signing ahead of their move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium over the summer.
But it is also important for Angus Kinnear to bring in squad players who will boost the numbers following the numerous departures.
Who is Lucas Ferreira?
The 19-year-old is certainly a player who would need developing on Merseyside having shown some encouraging early form in Brazil.
Ferreira has played across the senior and youth sides last season, where he has gained plenty of experience.

There will be some question marks over how big of an impact Ferreira could have immediately if he was to make the move to England.
But it is apparent this is a player who is highly rated by clubs inside the Premier League and further afar.
