Arsenal are “keeping close tabs” on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, according to TBR Football.
The Gunners finished second last season for the third consecutive Premier League campaign, a term that also saw them reach the semi-finals of the Champions League. For all of their impressive work, however, it was yet another campaign without any silverware, with the Gunners’ last major trophy having been the 2019 FA Cup.
Mikel Arteta and the club are already working on incomings for the summer. Arsenal are expected to sign a striker before the deadline and the North London side are close to signing both Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga, with other targets being consistently reported. Now, it would seem that Arsenal are monitoring yet another player who could bolster their midfield.
Arsenal Keen on Zaire-Emery
Gunners have “made an enquiry”
Warren Zaire-Emery in action for PSG
TBR Football have reported that Arsenal have made contact with PSG about the availability of Warren Zaire-Emery. The 19-year-old has spent his entire career to date in Paris, being a product of the PSG youth academy. Debuting in 2022, Zaire-Emery, who now earns £185,000 as per Capology, quickly became a key part of his club’s first team.

In the second half of the most-recent campaign, however, Zaire-Emery saw his minutes limited, sparking rumours about a potential departure. Arsenal, despite signing Zubimendi, are in need of further midfield depth, given that Jorginho has left the club and Thomas Partey’s future is unclear.
PSG have no interest in letting Zaire-Emery, who has been called a "superstar," depart the club, as per TBR Football, and given the midfielder has four years left on his contract, are in a strong position to decide this. Should Arsenal manage to agree a deal for Zaire-Emery, it would be a sensational signing, but whether they’re able to or not remains to be seen.
