Star striker Victor Osimhen has been “tipped” to join Liverpool this summer, according to TBR Football.
Despite skepticism surrounding him at the time of his appointment, Arne Slot enjoyed a stellar debut campaign in English football. The Dutchman guided Liverpool to their second-ever Premier League title with four games to spare in a truly dominant season for the Reds.
Since becoming champions, Liverpool have wasted little time in the transfer market. Bayer Leverkusen duo Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz have signed for the Reds, who are also targeting Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi and are progressing well with a potential deal for Milos Kerkez.
Now, it would seem that the Reds are keen to further bolster their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Osimhen to Liverpool?
Reds tipped to sign Nigerian international
Victor Osimhen
Alex Crook of talkSPORT, via TBR Football, has stated that he has “a hunch” that Victor Osimhen will move to the Premier League this summer. The Napoli striker, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, looks set for a permanent departure from Italy this summer. Crook said:
“Victor Osimhen is a fascinating one for me. He’s turned down a move to Saudi Arabia. I just have a hunch that he may well end up in the Premier League.”

GIVEMESPORT sources previously revealed that Osimhen has been discussed in private by Liverpool and TBR have only furthered the idea that the Nigerian, who helped Napoli win Serie A just two years ago, may move to Anfield this summer, with reports suggesting that Osimhen, dubbed the "best striker in the world," has turned down approaches from Saudi Arabia to remain in Europe and more specifically, the Premier League.
Darwin Nunez’s future is uncertain, the Uruguayan having struggled for form in the English top flight. Should he depart, then there would be few better replacements than Osimhen, who would be another stellar signing for the Reds in what, so far, has been a simply phenomenal transfer window.
