Jebbison joins Preston North End on season-long loan from Bournemouth

Preston North End have announced the signing of Daniel Jebbison from Premier League side Bournemouth.

The forward has joined Paul Heckingbottom’s side on a season-long loan as they aim to improve on last year.

The 21-year-old Canadian began his career with the Sheffield United academy upon his family moving to England. His time at the Blades also included spells on loan with Chorley and Burton Albion. He joined Bournemouth in 2024 before an injury-hit spell on loan to Watford, upon which he was recalled. He has made 16 appearances for the south coast club so far, scoring once.

Manager Paul Heckingbottom said: “I’m looking forward to working with him again. I’ve watched him play since he was a teenager and he was great to coach at Sheffield United.

“He’s someone I always pushed to keep improving during our time together. I’ve always believed in his ability and his potential.

“I know how good he can be and we’re looking to get the best out of him while he’s here working with us.”

Jebbison will link up with the club on 7th July after representing Canada in the Gold Cup.
