Youssef Chermiti could finally get a chance to play regularly as a transfer away from Everton may be on the cards soon.
The Toffees signed the 21-year-old from Sporting CP in 2023, but he hardly featured for them last season, mainly due to consistent fitness issues.
David Moyes doesn’t seem to trust Chermiti, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Portuguese centre-forward leave the Blues in the coming weeks.
Villarreal striker Thierno Barry has emerged as a serious option for the Merseyside outfit this summer, and it feels like the former Sporting CP centre-forward will have a hard time getting regular minutes if he stays next season.

Chermiti hasn’t been able to fulfil his potential at the Blues so far, and it makes sense to send him out on loan and let him revive his career at Stoke.
The Portuguese youngster’s situation will be one to watch in the coming weeks.
