Pascal Siakam of the Indiana Pacers received a lot of attention the other night, but it wasn’t for typical reasons.
A video filmed before Game 6 of the NBA Finals featured Siakam looking somewhat possessed, with his eyes rolling back in his head.
In a clip shared by Legion Hoops, Siakam talked about the moment, laughing and saying it wasn’t what it seemed.
“They said I was a demon. I wish I had a 30-point game or something—the spirit took over. I tried to close my eyes. I’m thinking that I’m closing them, but I’m not closing them. Sometimes, I have to remind myself. It used to happen a lot more, and I had to like remind myself every time, like, ‘Okay, close your eyes.’ At least they’re talking about it. Talking about me a little bit. We’ll take it,” Siakam said.
“They said I was a demon. I wish I had a 30 point game or something so then I could’ve been like yeah, the spirit took over.”

Siakam seems very amused by the video and the response it got from fans across the league.
During Game 6, Siakam put up 16 points and 13 rebounds, helping his team earn a victory in a must-win game.
Now they are going to face the Oklahoma City Thunder one more time in Game 7.
What can Siakam do in the last game of the season, and will fans see more moments like this one, with the spirit seemingly taking him over and powering him forward?
This has been a great postseason for Siakam, who was recently named Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
There is a very good chance that if the Pacers win the championship, he will be named Finals MVP as well.
Siakam is one of the many reasons why the Pacers are now a feared and successful team.
In the seasons ahead, people will view him as the dominant talent that he is.
This bizarre and unique video will undoubtedly raise his profile even higher.
