Is There Hope For Giants In 2025 After Strong Offseason?

Up until recently… The New York Giants had more holes on their roster than any of their biggest rivals.

It should therefore come as no surprise that the team was able to improve its roster more than its rivals. New York added a top edge rusher in Abdul Carter with the third overall pick. They also signed a strong starting cornerback in Paulson Adebo.

Is there finally fan base hope that the Giants can turn around their fortunes?

New York's most significant problems have rested at the quarterback position and along the offensive line. Injuries derailed New York's line to the point where few quarterbacks could succeed. They believe another offseason with top assistant coach Carmen Bricillo can do wonders.

Now about the quarterback position. …

Russell Wilson is a Super Bowl winner and has the numbers any team looks for in a veteran stopgap. However, his recent struggles with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos have significantly hurt his legacy.

If Wilson wants to save his career, this may be his last chance with New York.

Then there is rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. The Ole Miss prospect attended the same school as Eli Manning, and is even more mobile than the two-time Super Bowl winner.

His development, both on and off the field, could save head coach Brian Daboll's job.

That would require him to see the field early on, though.

In the end, a tough schedule won't make things easy for the Giants this season. If they can use some of the new additions they brought in to bolster their roster, this team may be better than many people think.
