[Real Madrid](https://www.managingmadrid.com) defender Dean Huijsen talked about how special it is to play for the club in a recent interview.
When asked about what it means to him, he said: “It is a dream come true for me. I think every kid dreams of playing for Real Madrid. It is the greatest club in the world, and I am very happy and really proud to be here.”
Huijsen was also asked about how it feels to be in the locker room with these players, and he put all fan theories to rest by saying that there is “a very good group and the locker room is very united”.
Finally, he was asked about the arrival of new manager Xabi Alonso, about which he was hopeful and positive.
Huijsen said: “We are very happy to have Xabi Alonso here too. I think he has a lot of good ideas, and we area going to have some great years together.”
