A very quick look at Game Six — but Game Seven looms

I have one goal when I write about games — I want to say something that others are not. For Game Six of the Finals, I got nothing. No one other than Tyrese Haliburton’s father expected the Pacers to blow out the Thunder. And even Mr. Haliburton did not expect the Pacers to be up 22 at halftime, and 30+ in the second half.

My summary of the game can be summed up in two things. First, this dunk by Pascal Siakam all over Jalen Williams:

Second, this picture of the Thunder’s best players after their early departure from the game. Mark Daignneault decided early in the fourth quarter that the best coaching move would be force his guys to sit there and stare at garbage time. I think William is experiencing an endless loop in his head of the Siakam dunk:

OK, that’s enough about Game Six. Time for our last Spurs Nation polls of the season:

OKC is favored by 6.5 points as I write this. If gambling were legal, would you take the Pacers with the points, or OKC minus 6.5?

Over/under for the game is 214.5. Put another way, if we stick with the spread, Vegas is predicting OKC will win by something like 110-104. Would you take the over of the under?
