According to a report from Kicker journalist Georg Holzner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl now has Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens on his wish list:
Max Eberl has Jamie Gittens on his shortlist and is in contact with the player’s camp. Borussia Dortmund want over €60m for the Englishman. Gittens is still wanted by Chelsea. A bidding war with the English club could therefore be expensive.
However, Bild (via @iMiaSanMia) is reporting that Gittens is already far along with Chelsea FC:
Gittens has an agreement with Chelsea on a 7-year deal worth €6.5m per year (he earns €3.5m at BVB). The English club couldn’t get the deal done due to the fee. They’ve recently offered €55m, while Dortmund want at least €65m. Bayern would have to match any bid made by Chelsea to stand a chance.
Could Bayern Munich find a way to slip past Chelsea and de it’s a deal?
