All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal as they continue their bid to land their first summer signing.

Arsenal are still searching for new recruits as they gear up for what they hope will be a long-awaited title-winning season. The Gunners are yet to move in the market, but they are expected to be busy between now and the start of the new season.

Mikel Arteta will want new options across his squad, with the striker and winger positions perhaps the most important, although it looks as though a midfielder will be first in through the doors. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Zubimendi done

Arsenal are now said to have wrapped up their deal to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi. The midfielder has been heavily linked with the Gunners for months, and it now looks as though he has wrapped up his move, although he won’t officially become a Gunner until the start of July when the summer transfer window opens.

Fabrizio Romano has posted on X: “Arsenal and Real Sociedad have completed all paperwork for Martin Zubimendi deal, it’s all signed. Zubimendi has completed formal steps of his move in London as he will be first summer signing for #AFC. Fee around €64/65m paid in instalments.”

Rodrygo claim

Arsenal have reportedly decided to press ahead in their bid to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrygo this summer. The Gunners need a winger ahead of the new season, and it looks as though they will miss out on Nico Williams, with Barcelona favourites and Bayern Munich the likely alternative.

Rodrygo has been an elite winger and one of the best wingers in the world over recent years, and AS are reporting that Arsenal are ready to make a move. The deal would cost as much as £77m, and the Spanish report claims the Gunners are ready to make a significant sale to fund the move and ensure their books remain balanced.

Gyokeres claim

TalkSport journalist Alex Crook has reported that Viktor Gyokeres believes he will join Arsenal this summer. He said: “I had a message 24 hours or so ago suggesting that Viktor Gyokeres has told friends and family he expects to join Arsenal. We know that Manchester United are interested in signing him as well, obviously there is that pre-existing relationship with Ruben Amorim.

"But Arsenal can offer Champions League football, maybe can offer a tilt at the title next season. Sporting are going to play hardball, there's been a fallout between Gyokeres and the club because his agent has suggested that they had a gentleman's agreement he could leave for £60million, I think they're looking for nearer £80m. Arsenal are juggling both him and Benjamin Sesko, they've opened talks with Leipzig as well but at the moment, I would say Gyokeres looks the more likely."
