Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard and his partner Helene Spilling celebrated their marriage with a festive wedding party in Oslo, Norway, on June 21, with several of Ødegaard’s Arsenal teammates joining the couple for the special occasion.
The celebration followed a private wedding ceremony held in November 2024, ahead of the birth of the couple’s first child in December. Spilling, a 29-year-old Norwegian dancer and television personality, and Ødegaard, 26, chose to mark the milestone with a grand public event in Norway’s capital, drawing a host of familiar faces from the Arsenal squad.
Among the attendees were Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Leandro Trossard, who all made the trip to Oslo to support their skipper. Their presence highlighted the strong camaraderie within Mikel Arteta’s squad, which has been widely praised for its unity both on and off the pitch.

The German forward was also dressed in a stylish black suit and tie, earning plaudits for his fashionable appearance.

Trossard, accompanied by his wife Laura Hilven, completed the Arsenal contingent at the event. The couple, dressed elegantly for the occasion, were photographed arriving in Oslo to cheers from fans and well-wishers on social media. Their presence added further warmth to what many online described as a true “Arsenal family” affair.

The lavish party came months after Ødegaard and Spilling’s discreet wedding ceremony was revealed by Norwegian outlet Verdens Gang, which reported the change in the couple’s marital status in the national registry. Spilling, now legally known as Helene Spilling Ødegaard, is a prominent media figure in Norway and the 2021 winner of Skal vi danse, the local version of Strictly Come Dancing. She has frequently been seen supporting Ødegaard at Emirates Stadium, including celebrating with fans during Arsenal’s 5–0 win over Chelsea last season.
Photos from the celebration captured the couple’s joy as they exited the church, Ødegaard in a timeless black tuxedo and Spilling radiant in a white wedding dress. The newlyweds smiled and waved from the back of a car as photographers and onlookers captured the special moment.
Ødegaard, who became Arsenal captain in 2022, has played a key role in fostering a close-knit environment at the club.
