Arsenal are looking to make a significant impact in the summer transfer market to bolster their chances of clinching the Premier League title next year, with the signing of a top class No. 9 being their main focus.
The Gunners have already been linked with a host of star names since the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. However, it's still uncertain whether Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko or an unexpected name will be spearheading Mikel Arteta's squad next year.
While there's no update yet on a striker signing, Arsenal are nearing their first summer signing with Martin Zubimendi flying into London this week.
The Real Sociedad playmaker is set to become the club's first summer signing with a deal almost finalised, and there should be plenty more transfer activity to follow in the upcoming weeks.
Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at the latest Arsenal transfer news.

Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard has emerged as a surprise midfield target for Arsenal, who may lose Thomas Partey in the near future.
Partey will become a free agent at the end of the month and with no agreement reached with the Ghanaian star, Arsenal are believed to be considering alternative targets.
The Gunners also saw Jorginho leave earlier this month. And the Mirror understands that Norgaard, 31, is a player Arsenal could pursue to enhance their squad depth ahead of the new season.

Jurrien Timber has forecasted a 'busy' transfer window for Arsenal as the club's hierarchy aims to secure quality signings.
Arsenal, who finished runners-up in the Premier League last season, are eager to clinch the title after three consecutive years of runners-up finishes, and Timber believes the club will bring in 'lots of players' to construct a title-winning team.
On the Matchday podcast, he commented: "It will definitely be a busy one for Arsenal. I think we will get a lot of players, because we had so many injuries last season."

Tottenham and Manchester United have cooled their interest in Antoine Semenyo after learning that Bournemouth will demand more than £70million for the forward.
Semenyo has caught the attention of numerous elite clubs following an impressive campaign with the Cherries and was previously linked with a move to Arsenal earlier in the year as they sought to bolster their attack.
Although it's uncertain if the Gunners will pursue Semenyo this summer, The Athletic has reported that Spurs did express interest in the Ghanaian talent. However, like United, they have been 'deterred' by Bournemouth's hefty price tag for the forward.
