Manchester United hike interest‘in last few hours’–May be preferable to€97m Saudi package

The Italian media continue to report Manchester United interest in Fiorentina’s Moise Kean, despite the transfer seeming quite unlikely. Indeed, not only are they continuing but it’s picked up speed.

Sunday’s edition of [Gazzetta dello Sport](http://gazzetta.it) reports Manchester United are in the picture ‘more than before’ and ‘in the last few hours’ have reappeared more strongly, having sent scouts to watch Kean in action for La Viola throughout the season.

According to the newspaper, other factors could be key. Al-Qadsiah are said to be ready to pay Kean’s €52m clause at Fiorentina and give him a contract worth €45m over three years. That would be a colossal package costing €97m in total, but it’s not thought to be running away with things right now.

In addition, should Arsenal definitively walk away from Gyökeres, then Manchester United could turn to the Sporting CP striker again.

The player is said to be considering his options whilst on vacation, but the Saudi offer is problematic in a potential World Cup cycle.
