Chelsea enter talks for Juventus loan star Randal Kolo Muani

Chelsea have opened talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani in the summer transfer window, according to L’Equipe via GFFN.

The French striker joined Juventus on loan in the second half of the last season after falling out with manager Luis Enrique. His stay with the Italian giants has been extended until the end of the Club World Cup.

The Old Lady are looking to make his transfer permanent after being impressed by his performances.

He bagged eight goals in 16 Serie A games to help Juve qualify for the Champions League. He also scored a stellar brace in the 5-0 win against Al-Ain in their Club World Cup opener.

Chelsea have thrown their hat into the ring for Kolo Muani, whose contract at the French capital expires in June 2028.

The Blues recently acquired Liam Delap from Ipswich Town for £30 million, but they are looking to add another striker to the ranks.

Nicolas Jackson’s future at Stamford Bridge is up in the air, with reports linking him with Italian giants Napoli and Juventus.

It looks a shrewd decision from the Europa Conference League winners to add depth to the No.9 position, something they lacked last season.

Kolo Muani can offer flexibility by playing on the flanks as well, however, it remains to be seen whether he can adapt to the physicality of the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Juve are trying to keep the former Eintracht Frankfurt star, identifying him as an alternative for their targets Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

They have made contact with his parent club PSG to negotiate Kolo Muani’s transfer fee, but a deal is far from over.

Chelsea may have to pay up to €50 million for the Frenchman, who is also on Manchester United’s wishlist.
