Bayern make ‘last-ditch offer’ to Nico in bid to beat Barca to Spain star

Bayern Munich have reportedly made Nico Williams a fresh offer as they bid to beat Barcelona to the Athletic Club star’s signature this summer.

According to L’Equipe, the Bavarian giants have offered Williams a contract worth €10 million net per season, excluding bonuses (€2 million), to join the club.

Bayern will have no problems paying his release clause, meaning it’s all down to Williams as to whether to accept or not.

The offer is higher than the one tabled by Barcelona, who also need to find a way to register Nico, but it’s been previously reported that the Catalans are his priority.

Barcelona are also trying to get the deal done. Joan Laporta has already said the club are working on an exciting signing and appears to have been talking about Williams.

Deco has also spoken out about the Athletic Club star this weekend and admitted the club are trying to bring him in.
