After being acquired by Hollywood in 2021 for £2 million by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, Wrexham has seen an absolutely incredible rise.
Wrexham, who were in the National League at the time, have now received consecutive promotions and will be playing in the Championship the following season.
The actors Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds took over Wrexham in 2021, and the rest is history.
The Dragons lost in the play-off final after finishing second in the National League the inaugural season.
The English team were able to redeem themselves quickly, though, as they won the title the next season under new manager Phil Parkinson.
They earned automatic promotion after finishing second in League Two in their first season back in the football league.
Similar things have happened this season, with Wrexham leaping up League One to finish second and earn automatic promotion to the Championship.
They are conscious that the Championship is a different beast in terms of opposition.
Therefore Wrexham will want to accomplish a similar feat the following season.
Wrexham have already been linked with a shock move for Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen.
And their now linked to a former Manchester United attacker to strengthen their forward line.

According to Sky Sports News, Wrexham and Stockport are interested in signing former Rangers forward Tom Lawrence.
The Wales international has been the subject of interest from big-spending Wrexham.
Backed by ambitious Hollywood duo Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Lawrence’s contract with the Scottish team ended at the end of the previous season.
Making him a free agent at this time.
Three years ago, the 31-year-old moved from Derby County to Rangers, where he has made 65 appearances and scored 11 goals.
He made his debut appearance for the first team in May 2014 after rising through the ranks at Manchester United.
For Lawrence, who was born in Wrexham but never played for the team, moving there would be a sort of homecoming.
