The Premier League champions are looking to acquire the services of a young central defender during the summer transfer window.
Lukeba has been playing in the Bundesliga for two seasons and has long been linked with a move away from Eastern Germany this summer. The former Lyon defender has a release clause worth €90m in his contract with Leipzig, which would allow him to leave the Red Bull-owned club.
