Everton are reportedly keen on a new right-back this summer and have identified Fulham defender Kenny Tete as an option.
The 29-year-old’s contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire at the end of June, making him a free agent.
Tete is a right-back by trade, but is capable of playing as a centre-back as well as a left-back.

Myers claims work is still to be done with Tete transfer
Alan Myers, a former Sky Sports news editor, admits that Everton are indeed keen on Tete.
However, things are not as advanced as they first seemed and he admits that work is still to be done with regards to the deal.

Once that is done, the Toffees will be set for a new transfer, but that could be some way away.
With Ashley Young leaving and Seamus Coleman’s new contract not yet official, the Blues are short in the right-back department.
As per @FabrizioRomano Everton are in discussions with free agent Kenny Tete, still work to do before a deal is completed though

Everton would benefit from signing Tete
Tete would be an astute signing for Everton due to his Premier League experience, versatility and cost-effective acquisition as a free agent.
At 29, the Dutch international right-back, with 14 caps, brings proven quality from his time at Fulham, where he made 121 appearances, scoring four goals and providing 10 assists.
His defensive solidity, praised for keeping wingers quiet, complements his ability to contribute offensively, making him an upgrade over ageing options like Coleman and injury-prone Nathan Patterson.
Club Appearances Goals Assists
Fulham 121 4 10
Olympique Lyon 80 1 9
Ajax 55 1 2
Tete’s career stats.
Tete’s familiarity with high-level competition, including a Europa League final with Ajax and a Champions League semi-final with Lyon, adds leadership to a squad losing veterans.
His wages are likely to be reasonable, allowing Everton to allocate funds elsewhere.
Despite past injuries, Tete’s three-year deal offers stability and experience, addressing a long-standing weak spot at right-back for Moyes’ side.
