“Coming days” | ExWHUEmployee | Aduerd sale hope from club

**West Ham are hoping to see movement in the likely sale of Nayef Aguerd, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**

As has been the case for many weeks, the Moroccan international is seen as a player the club wish to offload soon, which will play a significant part in the rebuild this summer under Graham Potter.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider Ex has advised that there is confidence growing that  bid from an Italian club is expected, which should then spearhead our summer recruitment.

“West Ham are hoping that an Italian team makes an official approach for Nayef Aguerd in the coming days, stated Ex.

“There has been talk that Juventus could be about to offer money and Daniele Rugani in exchange.

“It is thought that West Ham would rather take the full money and that Rugani isn’t a desired option.

“The defender is soon to be 31 and doesn’t fit the profile of player that the club are looking for. He also hasn’t played more than half the season of games for his clubs since he was in his first two years of his career.

“More positive news in terms of finances is that former academy player Pierre Ekwah is set to transfer froM Sunderland to Saint Etienne for €6m.

West Ham insiders have confirmed that the club will receive 35% of the deal. However Chelsea will receive 35% of our fee so the net fee will be around 22.5%.

“This means we should get £1.8m. with Chelsea receiving around £630,000 of that leaving West Ham £1.17m net as Sean Whetstone has written and our sources have confirmed. This sum will be added to the transfer kitty.”
