Martinelli, 23, burst onto the scene in 2019, captivating Arsenal supporters with his raw talent. His 2022/23 season, where he scored 15 goals in 36 Premier League games, showcased his potential to become world-class.
However, his form dipped in 2024/25, with only 13 goals across two seasons, prompting Arsenal to consider reinforcements like Nico Williams. This dip, coupled with Arsenal’s trophyless campaign—finishing as Premier League runners-up for the third consecutive year—has fueled speculation about his future.
