Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals is finally here, as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Indiana Pacers in a historic opportunity for both teams to capture their first NBA championship.

This marks the first NBA Finals Game 7 since the 2015–16 season, when the Cleveland Cavaliers completed a legendary comeback from a 3–1 deficit against the Golden State Warriors to win the franchise’s first title.
No matter the outcome, fans will witness history tonight. Ahead of the game, the NBA has shared seven of the most interesting facts about this year’s Finals:

Indiana can finish its 49th NBA season with its first NBA title
The Thunder seeks its first NBA championship in its 17 seasons in Oklahoma City
Oklahoma City and Indiana are separated by seven points through six games
The Pacers can become the first No. 4 seed to win the NBA Finals under the current playoff format (since 1983-84).
The Thunder can become the third team to have at least 84 victories and win the NBA Finals in the same season.
The NBA will have a different champion for the seventh straight season - a league first.
Game 7 will be played at 8 p.m. ET this Sunday in Oklahoma City.
